Arrival of Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer | Holy Prophet appeared in Gharib Nawaz Dream

After receiving education and spiritual training from Hazrat Usman Harooni, he returned to his native land, Sistan (Sajistan). After spending some time there, he proceeded to Makkah and Madinah to visit the holy places. During his journey to these sacred cities, he met many saints and renowned scholars of Islam, and also stayed in several prominent cities along the way. 

After this He reached Makkah and offerd Haj then You came to Maddinah and started worship of God at Blesssed Tomb of Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) .

Holy Prophet Came to Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti Dream

One Day when you were busy in worship of God at Madinah, Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) voice came from His Tomb, 

"O Moinuddin Hassan You are Mueen and Helper of Our Deen (religion). The Sainthood of Hindustan (india) is given to you by us. Go to india and reside in ajmer As India is Full of Darkness (empty of Gods Teaching) . Your arrival in india would diminish that darkness and Islam will flourish in your presence there."

After hearing this good news You became very happy.But You were also very eager and anxious to know "Where is Ajmer and where is it located in india?" . He Fell asleep in that thought and saw in Dream that You are in Holy court of Messenger of God Muhammad (SAW). Holy Prophet Showed You the World from East to West and He also showed the mountains of Ajmer . He also  gave you an pomegranate and said we have placed you in protection of Almighty Allah .

Departure to India

Right After waking up from the dream , He set out towards India . During That journey He met many Saint of Almighty Allah and  would recite Complete Holy Quran every day. Wherever He arrived , crowds of His devotees would gather around Him, and His Fame would spread far and wide. But You did not stay in any place for long Rather He Would immediately set out from one place to another.

Miracle of Khwaja Moinuddin in Hirat:

During You Journey towards india , when You reached Hirat City, The Ruler of Hirat City "Muhammad YaadGaar" became Your enemy , .He was very cruel and angry Ruler. He would blaspheme against Companion of Messenger of GOD and Saints of God. and who ever name was according to name of Companion of Prophet Muhammad in his City , He would kill Him.

By Chance , Khawaja Moinuddin ended up in His Garden. When he visited his Garden and saw Khawaja ,He got very angry , and tried to cause harm to Khawaja . But Khwaja Gharib Nawaz cast a single glance at him and made him unconscious , even his  companions began to tremble in fear. 

Then Khawaja sprinkled water on his face and he regained consciousness . Khawaja ordered him to repent from his impure intentions. king repented immediately and became follower of You with his companions. 

 

He also  presented great amount of wealth before Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti . But Khawaja said this wealth does not belong to You, It belongs to poors from whom you have taken it. You should give this back to owners. Accordingly he did the same.

 Khawaja continued his journey toward ajmer.

Miracle of Khawaja Moinuddin at Balkh

When Hazrat Khawaja reached Balkh, he stayed near the residence of a scholar named Hakim Ziauddin. This Hakim was a renowned philosopher of that time, but he was a disbeliever in God, and his ideas were atheistic.

When Hakim heard about the arrival of Hazrat, he came with the intention of engaging in debate. However, upon witnessing the spiritual dignity of Hazrat, he was so overwhelmed that he could not muster the courage to speak.

During this moment, a servant of Hazrat brought some roasted kebabs. Hazrat, after saying Bismillah, ate some himself and offered a piece to Hakim. As soon as the morsel entered his throat, all the skeptic and atheistic thoughts vanished, and a special light entered his heart.

Then Khawaja  gave him another morsel from his own plate, and through that blessing, the divine truths became unveiled to him. Immediately, Hakim abandoned all his philosophical books by throwing them into the river, repented from his misguided beliefs, and joined the circle of disciples of Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Hassan Chishti sanjari.

Then Khawaja reached Lahore and then Delhi . In Delhi You stayed for short time. During that time Crowds of people would visit you and getting spiritual help and blessing from Khawaja. He stayed in Delhi for short and  soon extended his journey toward Ajmer.

Arrival of Khawaja Gharib Nawaz in Ajmer

In the year 558 AH (1193 CE), when Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz journeyed from Delhi to Ajmer, he was accompanied by forty disciples and attendants. Upon reaching the town of Sabana, he was stopped by the officials of Raja Prithvi Raj.

The reason was that the Raja’s mother, who was well-versed in astrology, had already foretold the coming of a great saint from the Turkic people, who would bring an end to her son’s rule and deprive him of his wealth and power. She described the saint’s appearance in detail, and instructed her son to be cautious. Consequently, the Raja gave orders to his royal officials that if any person matching that description entered his kingdom, they should intercept him.

When the royal guards encountered Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin, they recognized the description and, outwardly, they showed him respect and honor. But inwardly, they were plotting to take him away to an unknown place. They requested him to accompany them, claiming that they had prepared a very suitable place for his stay.

Sensing their deceitful intentions, Hazrat Khwaja entered into deep meditation (muraqaba). In a vision, he beheld the Holy Prophet ﷺ who said: “O Moinuddin, never trust these deceitful people. They intend to cause you harm.”

After receiving this spiritual guidance, Hazrat Khwaja rejected the guards’ request and continued his journey until he finally entered Ajmer Sharif.
